BURNABY BLUE FOUNDATION The Burnaby Blue Foundation was set up following an army expedition retracing the extraordinary footsteps of Victorian Soldier diplomat Frederick Gustavus Burnaby across Central Asia. In the last two years the charity has put nearly $100,000 directly into the orphanages of Azerbaijan. Burnaby Blue has a number of overriding principles that it feels are absolutely necessary to sustaining the work that they do: Sustainable development Direct benefit towards children Voluntary work by all associated Direct input of money into local economy What this means is that almost every penny raised by the charity goes directly where it matters and very little goes to the admin costs.
